Spare, Replacement & All Keys Lost
If you still have a working key, we can provide an additional compatible key. If a key is lost, damaged or all keys are missing, the solution is selected according to the vehicle's security generation. Replacement of security modules is not automatically required simply because all keys are lost.
Technical Difference
Classic Defender and new Defender are completely different electronically. The current L663 uses modern JLR keyless security, so the correct smart-key type and vehicle configuration must be confirmed before programming.
Lost or Stolen Key
Where supported, a missing key can be removed from the vehicle's authorised key memory while the replacement key is programmed.
